ICP North Workshops
Antwerp & Hasselt

The annual ICP North Workshops have become an important space for interaction between students, alumni, researchers, and professionals from different ICP programmes.

Organized jointly by the University of Antwerp and UHasselt, the workshops promote interdisciplinary exchange on:

  • epidemiology,
  • biostatistics,
  • global health,
  • and societal impact.

By 2026, the workshops reached their 9th edition, continuing to strengthen the international

Alumni Meetings (2026)

To further strengthen global connections, the MEPI Alumni Network initiated online alumni meetings bringing together graduates from different countries and professional backgrounds.

These meetings aim to support:

  • networking,
  • collaboration,
  • mentoring,
  • and the exchange of professional opportunities beyond geographical boundaries.

Ho Chi Minh City & Hanoi
Vietnam (2024)

As part of the MEPI mission to Vietnam, alumni participated in meetings and networking activities with universities, public health institutions, and governmental partners.

Vietnamese alumni shared their experiences while contributing to the strengthening of:

  • institutional partnerships,
  • student opportunities,
  • and regional collaboration in Southeast Asia.

The second MEPI alumni meeting gathered alumni living in Belgium and other European countries.

while also supporting the creation of the European MEPI Alumni Chapter.

Tanga & Magoroto Forest
Tanzania (2022)

The first MEPI alumni meeting in Africa brought together alumni and partners in Tanzania for scientific exchange, networking, and discussions on strengthening epidemiological capacity and regional collaboration.
The activities also included:
